Accessibility Statement — BeCompany
Last updated: 19 October 2026
1. Who we are
This statement covers the services, websites and apps of BE COMPANY LTD (בי קאמפני בע"מ), company no. 517368551, 5 Avraham Hillel St., Ramla 7222716, Israel. That includes becompany.net and the Be* app family (BeSiness, BeSend, BeFolder, BeNav and others).
We see accessibility as part of our service, and we are working to make the website and apps accessible to people with disabilities.
2. Standard and conformance level
- Target: Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0, at level AA, on the website and in the apps.
- Status: the website and apps are being made accessible. No professional accessibility audit has been carried out yet, so we do not claim full conformance. An audit is planned for 16/11/2026, by a certified service-accessibility auditor.
3. What is already in place
- Every page declares its language and text direction (Hebrew right-to-left, English left-to-right), so screen readers read it correctly.
- Some screens respect the device's "reduce motion" setting.
- Light and dark themes are available, and text scales with browser and device settings.
- The website can be used with browser zoom.
4. Known gaps
As of 19/10/2026 we know of the following gaps. We list them so you know what to expect and can ask for an alternative:
1. There is no accessibility menu on the website. A component for text size, high contrast and keyboard mode exists in the code but is not yet shown to users.
2. Not yet checked systematically against the standard: full keyboard navigation, alternative text for images, labels on every form field, and colour contrast.
3. The iOS and Android apps have not been audited against the standard, including with VoiceOver and TalkBack.
4. Maps (BeNav): the interactive map is not fully accessible to screen readers.
5. Video and streams: captions and transcripts are not guaranteed for all video, especially user-uploaded content.
6. Documents and content uploaded by users and businesses (PDF files, images, business pages) may not be accessible. Whoever publishes such content is responsible for making it accessible (see §7).
7. The BeStreams TV app (Samsung Tizen, running since 19/10/2026) has not been audited against the standard. Remote-control focus navigation was added on 19/10/2026. The layout is not yet adapted for 10-foot viewing, including text size and layout.
5. Reporting an accessibility problem
If you run into a problem, please tell us. We will help, and where needed provide the service or information in another way.
- Accessibility coordinator: Netanel Hadar · phone +972-54-252-0275 · email connect@becompany.net
- You can also contact: support@becompany.net
- Please include: a description of the problem, the page or screen, your browser or device, and any assistive technology you used.
Response times:
- Acknowledgement: within 5 business days.
- Fix, or an explanation with an alternative: within 60 days of receipt. That is the period in reg. 35א(d)(1), and we aim to be faster.
- Immediate alternative: when the problem blocks use of the service, we will immediately offer another way to complete the action, for example by phone or email.
6. Physical offices
The company has no office that receives the public. Service is provided online and by phone.
7. Pages that businesses publish through the platform
Businesses publish their own pages on the platform, such as stores and business pages. The technical components we provide follow §2–§4. Each business is responsible for the content it uploads and for the accessibility of its own service. A business that is subject to the accessibility duty publishes its own accessibility statement.
8. Review
- Statement last updated: 19/10/2026.
- Last professional accessibility audit: none yet. A professional IS 5568 audit is scheduled for 16/11/2026.
- We will update this statement after every audit and every material change.
